RepoReel terms
These terms cover use of the public discovery feed and one-time sponsored placements purchased through RepoReel.
The feed
RepoReel organizes public GitHub repository signals for discovery. Rankings, summaries, counts, comments, and links can be incomplete, delayed, cached, or wrong. Appearance in the feed is not an endorsement, security review, investment recommendation, or guarantee that a repository is suitable for a particular use. Check the source repository and its license before relying on or reusing code.
Third-party destinations
GitHub repositories, advertiser pages, Stripe checkout, and MagicAds destinations are operated by third parties. RepoReel does not control their content, availability, privacy practices, licenses, or transactions. Visitors are responsible for evaluating external links before downloading software, sharing information, or making a purchase.
Sponsored placement orders
Placement packages are one-time purchases in USD at the price shown during checkout. A buyer must submit an accurate offer name, working destination, controlled contact email, and truthful promotional copy. The buyer confirms that it has permission to promote the destination and provide all submitted content.
Payment submits the placement for manual review. It does not guarantee publication, timing, reach, clicks, leads, sales, or endorsement. Placement duration begins when an approved sponsored card is published, not merely when checkout is completed.
Review and prohibited content
RepoReel may request edits, reschedule, pause, or decline a placement that is irrelevant, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, infringes rights, distributes malware, impersonates others, collects credentials deceptively, or could harm visitors or the service. Paid placements are identified as sponsored.
Changes, cancellations, and payment issues
Buyers should request destination or copy changes through any order correspondence before publication. Changes are subject to review. Refunds are not guaranteed after a placement begins. If a paid placement cannot be run, RepoReel may work with the buyer on edits, rescheduling, credit, or refund as appropriate to the circumstances. Charge disputes, duplicate payments, or suspected unauthorized payments may require Stripe records to resolve.
Acceptable use and availability
Do not interfere with the site, probe it without authorization, overload its APIs, scrape it in a way that disrupts service, bypass access controls, or use RepoReel to distribute harmful material. The site may change, pause, or stop features, and no uninterrupted availability is promised.
Responsibility
RepoReel is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, RepoReel is not responsible for indirect losses caused by feed errors, external repositories, third-party destinations, or advertising performance. Nothing here limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
